Blind Spot Information System (BLIS) with cross-traffic alert and trailer tow monitoring was the technology features available for safe towing. Likewise, the Dynamic Hitch Assist enabled easier hitching by helping to line up the truck and trailer without requiring a spotter or having to get out of the vehicle.

The towing features included an available integrated trailer brake controller, smart trailer tow connector, tow mirror, and 360-degree camera system that provided a view of all four sides of the truck. An available STX appearance package is also new, along with available 4G LTE Wi-Fi connectivity. Exterior paint colors Lightning Blue, Avalanche, and White Gold are now offered, as well.
